HOW it All works

What can we do?

Who we need to help us.

What about the money?

First of all, know that our primary aim is to reunite you with your pet. We specialize in assisting those fleeing domestic abuse, providing foster care for pets to ensure their safety. There are no limits on the types of pets we help, from dogs and cats to horses, donkeys, snakes, and even spiders. Every pet is unique, and our foster care

There are no limits on the types of pets we help, from dogs and cats to horses, donkeys, snakes, and even spiders. Every pet is unique, and our foster carers are selected from a diverse group of expert volunteers. Each situation is different; sometimes we help rescue pets left behind, while at other times we coordinate evacuations alongside the human victims fleeing domestic abuse. Talk to us about your specific circumstances, and we will work together to create a plan. We understand that communication can be difficult as you may be monitored. We will keep our responses to a minimum and can arrange communication through a third party if that’s what you prefer. There is always a way.

The important thing is, don't worry. If you can pay for your pet's needs, then that's great. As a small charity focused on helping victims of domestic abuse, we need to save funds for those who really need it. We understand that many victims face financial difficulties, which is a real problem, especially when it comes to caring for domestic abuse pets. We work hard to raise funds to assist where we can. With veterinary care, we will crowd fund to support rescue pets when possible. We even know some vets who would work for free. However, at this time, we don't have the funds to help with veterinary care as a standard practice. If you have a dog that cannot be transferred to another person due to exemptions under the Dangerous Dogs Act, we will attempt to crowd fund and secure you foster care for pets so that you can stay with your dog.

We are a small charity dedicated to helping domestic abuse pets, and we appreciate all the support we can get. We urgently need foster volunteers for our foster care for pets program. You will need to be DBS checked, which we can assist you with, and we will need to arrange a visit to your home to ensure everything is safe for a temporary guest. Additionally, there are many other roles available, including drivers to transport rescue pets to their foster homes or for vet check-ups; veterinary surgeons and behaviorists who would like to assist us; and anyone with experience who believes they can help a pet that may have been traumatized or needs some support. The administration of the charity is a significant task as well, so if you think you could contribute in any other way, please do email us. We would love to hear from you.
